I am looking for a new phone on VZ, but I don't know what to get! I love HTC hardware and Sense UI, but the glass of the Thunderbolt bothers me. While Moto likes to use Gorilla Glass, I know HTC uses different tech, so I have to ask, how have your Incredible (pun intended) screens held up? :D

Just concerned because I hate most all screen protectors and my phone lives between my pocket and my hand, haha

I have a Seidio Crystal Clear screen guard on mine (Which you would swear was not there) for 7 months now. My Wife has a Zagg on hers (6 mos), you can tell it's there but it works well. I don't think I really need this, neither are in cases, but it just made me feel better.

I've heard Seidio has some pretty good products, so I may have to check that out if I end up getting an HTC (probable). Can anyone speak to the durability of their cases? Do they protect well? Are they obtrusive?

For the most part the screen holds up okay. I do have a small scratch on mine, however, but that's cause in my haste one day I dropped my keys in the same pocket as my phone.

I was asking for it. :'(

no problems no screen protector dropped it on the ground once no scratches so ....it's all good

I have ghost armor screen protector on mine. It protects very well. I have had it on all my smartphones. I am pleased with it.

Had my dinc about a year now no screen protector and just the resin case that Verizon sells on it .... I throw my phone in the same pocket as my keys, change , lighter........ no scratches no issues at all. The only thing that has not been done to phone is I have never kicked across the floor face down.

I still have my orignal Seidio screen protecor on from last May. You really don't even know that it is there. Not a scratch on it and still smooth to run your finger across.

No screen protector or case since the phone's release in April 2010, and not a single scratch anywhere on the screen. Same thing with the camera lens- looks perfect.

I have had the Droid Incredible since May 4th, and got the ordinary pack of 3 screen protectors from Verizon that came bundled with the phone (it also has a microfiber cloth within the package), and I am still using the first screen protector that was put one without a single scratch. The camera is still pristine as well. I think the screen is pretty durable. If you were to buy them, I think it would run you 10 bucks. But they work.

No screen protector on mine (I hate them) and I have one scratch... but thats because I flung it across the room face down on the hard wood floor... and all it got was one scratch. The rest of the screen is flawless.

i have one on my room from like the second day i got it. it had the case off and it fell off the couch while charging lol. its not even noticeable though

I've had my Incredible since the day before launch. It's been completely nude this entire time but there's not a single scratch on the screen. Not one. And trust me, we've had some bad days - got a few chips and dings on the sides and I even managed to shatter the glass over the camera lens, but that screen itself is a beast.

I have a screen protector and can't even notice it's there. You just need to buy decent ones and not 30 cent ebay protectors.

I got a pretty big scratch on my screen one day from putting it in my pocket with some coins in there with it.

I use the Zagg Invisible Shield. So far it works really well. I also have a gel skin that I bought from BestBuy. I feel good that my phone is completely protected. I'm not a clumsy person, but accidents do happen.

Had my Dinc since June of last year. I have a few slight scratches on the screen, but that's because I dropped it on my foot and kicked it face down across the entire garage floor. Sucked, but the scratches only show up in certain kinds of light. pretty durable imo.
