What's the deal with Spotify

On the LTE version why can't we stream Spotify or YouTube music without downloading or connecting via Bluetooth to your phone. On the watch3 LTE version you were able to stream Spotify without the phone being there.

Anyone know how to get this to work?

Strangely, when I'm playing Spotify on my headphones and then I disconnect the headphones, Spotify will sometimes continue playing through the phone speaker. So I'm not even sure that forcing Bluetooth-only playback was the intended functionality of the Spotify developers.

According to the link posted above I don't think so. They are discussing the issue now in the forum.

I received my phones in today, non of the three play either on pairing.
