What's the difference in the S7 and S7 Edges Always On Time Feature and the Note 7s?

Am I correct in saying that the S7 and S7edge don't let you change the color on the numbers and don't have the custom picture feature like the Note 7? I just read that the S7 and S7edge might be getting the Note 7s always on feaures that it's missing in an update soon.

The note 7 gives you updates for third party apps on the always on display while the S7s just reads Samsung apps.

I could change the Edge AOD as I can change the N7. I don't know about the S7.
