What's the latest AT&T update that works with the Gear VR?

Sorry, I'm a bit new to android, but how do I tell if I have the latest update that will work with the Gear VR?

I went to: Settings/General/About Device/Software Updates, and it says I'm up to date, but how can I be sure it's the right version, if perhaps they haven't pushed out an update yet?
