What's up with my sound system fluctuating?

So I've had a Samsung S7 for a few months now, and the past few days whenever I listen to music or watch a video, the sound changes and drops 30% of where it should be. It doesn't tell me if it's decreasing and when I turn it up it would still be a bit off until it goes back to it's original state randomly for a few seconds. Then it just goes back down even when my volume is at max. It even sometimes stops playing a video or song entirely. This also happens when I plug into an AUX chord or use Bluetooth. However, when I turn my phone to safe mode it works perfectly fine, but I can't use most of my phone. I have a feeling there's an app that's causing it, but looking up ways to find out which one it is has been rather difficult. Is there a way to find the app that's messing with my sound, or is there another way to fix the sound problem without using safe mode restricting what I use on my phone?
