What's VZW's policy on exchanges again?

My 30 day exchange period on my Incredible runs out on 9/9. I'd be interested in exchanging it for the Fascinate, but I'm a little squeamish about getting a phone on launch day before people have really had a chance to use it and talk about it. I know that the other Galaxy S phones have been out for a while, but each one will have its own quirks. So if I exchange my Incredible for a Fascinate, what is the return policy on the fascinate? They obviously can't give me another thirty days to return/exchange, otherwise people could just keep trading in phones every thirty days forever (though that would be kind of cool!) So if I have problems with the samsung, or just decide I don't like it as much, do I have any recourse as far as returning it? Or is it just warranty returns after that point? Thanks.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I just downloaded Froyo onto my Incredible so see if it would clear up the call quality issue and so far, I'm on the fence. My 30 day ends 9/11. I'm wondering what the call quality of the Fascinate is like compared to the Incredible. The only thing that irritates me about the Fascinate is the Bing bloatware. I'm really a Google fan and what I have heard, you cannot load Google search into the Fascinate.

Why couldn't you load a google search onto it? it suppose to be customizable is it not? Choose what widgets are on your home scree and what you don't want? I'm new to all this so..

Unless it changed from last November, within the 30 days you can exchange your phone for a $35 restocking fee. After that one exchange your either stuck with that phone or you can return the second phone.

Now here is where I'm a little confused, if you return the second phone you either can active an old phone or you have to cancel that account and can't activate a new account for at least 3 days. I'm almost certain that if you return the second phone you have to cancel your account and are stuck without service on verizon for a few days.
