What's with BestBuy Price Change?

Ok, I was wondering if this could be explained to me, why is the Bestbuy price $250 for two days, and then jump to $300? Who would buy it from Bestbuy if they have the cheaper Verizon or Wirefly option? And why does it change? Why not launch at one price and stay there? This just confuses me and I was wondering if anyone had a good answer to this. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's just $250 and doesn't go up to $300. Someone will tell me if i'm wrong i'm sure but i don't think it'll go up to $300

It's in the BB memo to employees that the $249 price is good through the 19th, then it bumps up to $299.

Who knows. I would worry about picking one up now while the prices last because Verizon might not last. Those I don't understand how Best Buy is going to get away with selling it for 300 unless Verizon themselves will be changing as well. By the way wirefly has a 30 day price guarantee might leave one to speculate the price may change.

It was also in their press release this morning. I think they want the price to be $300 but for legal reasons felt obliged to somehow honor their previously advertized price of $250, at least temporarily. It's pretty pointless if Verizon is not also raising their price. If you ask me, Best Buy looks really ridiculous in this mess.
