Super curious... I STILL have not updated one of my Android devices to N... but I digress. Hoping some of you can kick me in the **** and encourage me to update by telling me about some of the new features in N.

What's awesome? What should I be looking for?

I'm going to go with the new notifications - Love them. But multiwindow isn't far behind!

For me it would be multi-view if I had a tablet (I am weird and don't) but besides that I like the quick reply feature on more things. :).

Yeah.... the new notifications handler is super sweet. Multi-window is now quick, easy to use... I don't use it to view things at the same time, only to move text from one to another, and it is quick enough to be functional. I think that sound you heard was tears of joy from Phil as he cuddles with his Pixel C now that it has MW.

So yeah... what Matt said.

Multiwindow is on phones too - it is fantastic on tablets, on phones it's cool but not AS useful unless you have a large screen phone. IIRC you have a Nexus 4, right? Which is 4.7" screen?

I have the preview on my Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, Pixel C and my wife's Nexus 9. Straight up awesomeness :) Preview DEFINITELY has some bugs, but so far nothing critical. Have you read the blog comments about it? Especially, Jerry's admonition and Ara's feature articles? Good stuff.

Considering that for a lot of people tablets aren't 'mission critical' devices... they are mostly there for playing around... I'd have no qualms about loading the N update on, say, a Nexus 9. I mean, no one is going to be stranded on the side of the road and think "DAMN! Chrome keeps crashing on my tablet!"

I've also seen some rumors that multi-window in N will go beyond split screen, as well, and include free-form floating windows. For something like a Pixel-C, or a larger screened tablet, that would be transformative.

Hope so. That makes nothing but perfect sense for any touchscreen device, especially if you're not forced to snap the windows to grids or guides.

I'm excited for native multi window. The feature on my lg g4 is really limited so I never use it.

Alot of people seem to like the new notification shade animation. But if Samsung did the animation on TouchWiz, everyone would be saying how over the top it is and too busy.

Honestly love them all. The April update gave a awesome update to the folders on Google now launcher. It's awesome they brought the clear all finally in recent apps
