Using Textra on Pixel 3 with Verizon and getting all texts promptly, at least from Favorites. Have not checked other contacts.

I use textra, but would rather use stock app. Reason I'm not using stock messaging app is because it doesn't work with Android Auto when I receive group messages.

This is the only thing I am missing from my last years of iPhone and that is iMessage.. Allo is awesome but can't text from it which is lame... hoping they get RCS baked into the standard app and carrier support ASAP.

Tetra for me. I'd use messages but can't live without send when pressing enter.
I haven't tried pulse for a long while and I used to love chomp but textra is the best now

Textra recognizes Contact Groups. Best texting app in my opinion.
