Whatsapp crashing

I have two Note 7s, one for me and one for a family member so I don't think it's hardware. On both, Whatsapp occasionally crashes and occasionally the phone will reboot itself afterwards.

I tried deleting the data and cache but the problem came back.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the app being built in? Can't uninstall it. There haven't been any updates pushed out to my T-Mobile Note 7, so I'm hoping after the replacements are handed out they will do that and fix this irritating bug.

Any ideas?

I used Whatsapp all day, everyday on the N7 since i got it 8/18.... Hasn't crashed yet.......
Hopefully it'll work on your new N7's..

I was surprised as well, but yeah... it comes with the phone (T-Mobile) and you can't uninstall it.

It seems to happen most often with voice clip playback for some reason. Both phones. Do you do any of that? Wonder why it would only be these phones.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. This leads me to believe that it may actually be a hardware issue; specifically with T-Mobile Note 7s. Chances are very slim that it's just my two devices, both ordered and received on different dates.
