WhatsApp -like app

I'm looking for an app similar to WhatsApp. We have some interesting dynamics that make WhatsApp a less that ideal choice, so I'm looking to see what's out there.

It needs to be available on Android and iOS. I want to be able to appoint more than one admin per group who can add or delete folks. Also, it would be ideal to be able to limit who can actually post.

Is there anything that does this?

Not yet, but I will. I've heard that it's harder to use. Does that ring true?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. It's quite easy to use and it includes lots of options to customise your chats. I like Telegram much more than WhatsApp, specially for big chatty groups. I have some problems trying to convince most of my contacts to use it instead of WhatsApp though, so I end up using WhatsApp more than Telegram.

Like the other users here, I definitely would suggest Telegram
