whatsapp notifications

After 2 days of successful use, all of a sudden I'm not receiving whatsapp notifications on my g watch. Anyone experiencing / experienced this and know of a resolution.

WhatsApp isn't in my muted apps list.

Actually it appears nothing is working. No notifications coming through yet watch is fully connected to device

I've had quirky issues that were fixed by just rebooting the watch. That would be my first attempt at a fix.
