WhatsApp - 900 million plus messages...

I've read so many blogs, and the likes online. People seem to have various views of WhatsApp.
In the Android world (I'm coming from BlackBerry & iOS), how are WhatsApp viewed?

Really just more curious that anything...

I use Whatsapp pretty much every day. It's the way I communicate with my family and friends in Colombia since I don't use Facebook. Is a good messaging app. But what exactly are you referring to with this question?

I only use it to speak to my family overseas. I rather use BlackBerry messenger then whatsapp. I don't like that every time Install I get charged an international text charge.

Sent from my 9.7 Korean tablet with the stick thingy.

I may start to use WhatsApp. Too many international friends, and they simply refuse to use BBM. As much as I wish they would...

yes I also use it but it is not that good tho it is only popular because it has a very big user base and also because it is owned by google

Do most people here, use WhatsApp already?

Whatsapp is great for sending media (pics and videos). Media is received in higher quality than native message app.
And you are able to see if the receiver has read your text.

Everyone uses it. I hate it. Using it by force. I'd rather Telegram.
