Hi, when collaborating the Blood Pressure monitor, it tells you to wear the watch on your usual arm and wear the BP monitor on your other arm. Does this have to be the case, can they not both be done on the same arm at the same time?

Your opposite arm can sometimes be a little different to the other arm anyway, so just wondered?

Regards

James

Most likely because since the BP cuff is squeezing your upper arm, you're not going to get an accurate reading at the wrist. Follow the directions. The difference in readings in arms is not going to make a difference, otherwise we would always take BP's in one specific arm.

It is approved in the US, but doesn't work with all phones. Samsung phones yes, but Google phones need some light hacking to get it running. There is a separate app, Samsung Health Monitor that controls BP and ECG, that is installed on the phone and the watch. This is in addition to the "standard" Samsung Health app that syncs with all the other health functions. This app installs automatically during setup when paired with a Samsung phone, but needs to be installed manually with other phones.

I installed Samsung Health Monitor in S22 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro but no blood pressure is included, only ECG.

Hmm, did some googling and I think I was focusing on the ECG approval, assuming that BP would be hand in hand with it. My mistake.

Now I'm wondering if the modded Health Monitor app would bring this to you.
