Android Central Question

Moto G Power (2022) All ok without flash. I took a series of 5 pix, one was ok, all others severe yellow/orange tint with flash. 27% battery. Slightly better results while charging. What could be wrong? Will see if problem still exists when phone fully charged. Has this problem been seen before? Thank you.

Two phones, neither of them Motos, that I use currently are unusable for flash photography with their cases on, for the reason mentioned by B. Diddy above. I’m guessing that it’s a common effect.

Don't expect a lot out of this device for the camera especially low lite . It's not up there with Flagship device in camera department

I'm not a photography expert, but I do know you should never use the flash on a mobile phone

In some situations you have no choice, there simply isn't enough light. Even with a DSLR you should never use the built in flash unless absolutely necessary because it causes harsh light and shadows, it looks significantly better to have off camera flash with a diffuser or let the light bounce off a wall.

I think the point is that one should never expect a nighttime photo to look good with flash.;)
Most flagship like iPhone, Samsung,Pixels the flash is not bad especially in no light situations all though those phones take really good shots in low light but midrange device or a $200 phone don't expect low lights or no lights quality.
