when i get a text phone number shows instead of a name on my samsung a52

I get a phone number instead of a name when I recieve a text

There is too much to assume so please answer these questions...

Are these contacts that you have saved to your device or profile?

Does it only happen to one or two contacts, or does this happen to all calls regardless of who is calling?

Have you looked at the settings in your phone app and contacts app for any setting that could be causing this?

Do you get names in your texting app for the same contacts that only show numbers when called?

Are you using the stock phone app to make and receive calls?

Is there anything you think we need to know to help you with this issues?
