*My phone is a Droid Maxx 2
Hi all.
For the past week, whenever I would play an album or a playlist, the equalizer I would be using would stop working when it went into the next song. I found this out because the sound quality would abruptly drop and would only reactivate when I select another song. At first, I thought it was a problem with the Equalizer I was using (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...artandroidapps.equalizer&hl=en&token=BTnT3xBI), so I uninstalled it and decided to use the Audio Effects app in the meantime until the "bug" got fixed. However, I would have the same problem with the Audio Effects app as well, where it would, again, turn off as it played the next song. I downloaded yet another equalizer app (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...m.devdnua.equalizer.free&hl=en&token=YkBNaBIo) hoping my situation would change, but still, no luck. The same thing still happens.
I have tried disabling and clearing out the equalizer and Google Play apps to no avail, and not even turning it off and back on would work. I'm considering nuking my Google Play library (over 8,000 songs), but I feel like that would not remedy my situation. Is there any way I can fix this?
Thank you!
