When I swipe to unlock my phone. It shows the old wallpaper that I changed why is that?

Ok so on my Moto x4 after I changed my wallpaper for my home and lock screen. The default wallpaper that came with the phone shows Everytime I swipe to unlock my screen. It shows for about 5 seconds or if I hold the swipe in the middle I can see it. I did reset my whole phone 3 times and still the same issue. When I first got the phone it did not do this. Please someone help
