When is my Motorola Droid Maxx going to get the Android Version 5.1.1 software update

When is my Motorola Droid Maxx going to get the Android Version 5.1.1 software operating system so it will work with my Amazon Echo to make calls to other Amazon Echo devices?

Welcome to the forums. That's very strange, the Droid Maxx got the Marshmallow update a long time ago. Have you already talked with Verizon about this? Did you root or unlock the bootloader?

It's a 2013 phone so I wouldn't expect it to get another update, doing some research as to which OS it was updated to I found this claiming it would never get lollipop.
