When is the Note 4 likely to drop in price?

I'm a Sprint customer, out of contract. The only reason I stay with Sprint is that I have unlimited data/text and more minutes than I'll ever use for $50 a month (SERO legacy customer).

I prefer the on contract deals because I plan on keeping the service. I got my S3 a little over 2 years ago and it still runs quite well all things considered, I never even bothered rooting it like I did my previous phone (Evo 4G). I got a special on the S3 for like $1 on contract, and it had been out about 4-5 months at that time. Hoping that the Note 4 drops to $99 or lower in the next couple of months.

Not sure what you mean. The Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was free ar on contract on Black Friday weekend. It is unlikely to get cheaper in the near future.

No, it wasn't free. The the office was "$0 down" bit you paid $29-39 a month for x months until it was paid of to a total of $299/399, I can't remember which. Ask me how I know....cause I was at best buy to buy the phone under the same impression as you guys

As I stated before, it was free ar on contract. You do not have to pay anything above the monthly on contract pricing.

See post 6 for now details.

At Verizon authorized stores. I traded in a razr maxx gotten 200 off on my note 4 , So I only paid one hundred dollars for it. I don't know how long the deal is , I done this on Nov 15 .

Bumping this to see if anyone remembers around what point the Note 3 dropped at most carriers - the $299.99 on contract price is still the best Sprint will do for me, other than offering me double for the buy back of my old S3 (so I'd get a service credit for $46 when I send it to them). They still won't work with me because my SERO-P Plan is so good, but I'd probably still get the Note 4 if the price dropped. I'm not sold on the S6 and I'm wondering if the Note 4 will be the last of the replaceable batteries and expandable memory phones from Samsung.

I was hoping that after the S6 release there would be a slight drop in the Note 4, but then again what other competition does it have in similar sized phones? Not much...

The price probably won't drop until the Note 5 is released, this Fall. There may be deals offered between now and then, however.

The international version has dropped 100 bucks since its release, and in the US most carriers now offer the device for 0 down or cheaper than at launch.

With the announcement of the Note 5 just days away, I still haven't seen a price drop from Verizon on the Note 4. Been pondering Note 4 or S5 for some time now because of the replaceable battery and SD memory card.
