The Android Oreo update was released for the U11 on the 28th November to all carriers. So it's up to the carriers to now release it to their customers.

Best advice would just be to check for updates on a weekly basis or possibly send Sprint a message. Carriers can take weeks or even months to release updates. 😃

And that "weeks or even months" isn't something arbitrary. Each carrier, for each phone, has to make whatever changes they're going to make, then submit them to Google for approval, before they can release the update.
