When navigating with Android Auto, how do you stop spoken directions?

On my new 2016 Honda Accord I am rocking Android Auto. However, as my music is playing, navigational directions keep interrupting the music. Since the Android Auto screen is so large and easily visible, I don't need spoken directions. This becomes annoying when having several turns in a row. Is there a way to silence the spoken directions? I have tried but cannot find settings to do so.
