I'll switch from my $25/month S8+(from bestbuy) when the Note 8 price drops and it can be had for under $30 on Verizon (through bestbuy). I don't believe there are enough upgrades to the N8 over the S8+ for me to spend another $7 a month...

I'm guessing this will be around the end of December.

Better camera system, more ram and the S Pen? Yeah that's worth an additional 7 bucks a month to me.

Oh and Android 7.1.1. Will more than likely be the first Samsung device updated to Oreo.

Just ask Pennywise!

With trade in I'm paying just over $13 s month. Find a phone to trade in that's cheap to buy, it can be done

Those features are def good but if the S8+ is any indication the Note 8 price will drop quick.

Would be great if it happens for those that haven't bought yet, but I'm not so sure the Note 8 will be as quick to drop as the S8, especially seeing its breaking previous sales records for Samsung... We'll see.

I'm trading in my s8+ and getting the note8 for just under 13 a month. Saving about 12 bucks a month

The Note really isn't meant to be an upgrade to the S+ line, its designed to appeal to those who want the pen experience. The S+ line was created to cater to those who wanted a larger screen but wouldn't be using the pen because Samsung realized a good chunk of Note buyers bought it for the screen size while never using the pen.

It doesn't help I just bought the S8+ mid July so I dont have trade in value on it yet. I could annual upgrade it already with paying $183 plus trade in.

It sounds sort of crazy to upgrade a 6 month old phone you really like. I think only people who got the S8 as a placeholder for the N8, or the few folks who update every 6 months because they're phone addicts are really the only people who should strongly be considering upgrading from an S8 to a note in my opinion

If you switch to T-Mobile from another carrier, you can give them your S8+ (or other phone) and they'll reimburse you for the remaining balance and any early-termination fees from your old carrier (up to $650).

If you have a friend or relative who also wants a Note 8 and you pre-order, T-Mobile will give you two Note 8s for the price of one--effectively $465 per phone.

And if either of you is old (55+), you can get unlimited everything (except for a cap on streaming-video resolution) for both phones for a total of $60/month.

I'm one of those phone addicts but again not at a super high price.
