Time for speculation. Any thoughts on how the carrier's may swap out phone? I'm on tmo and they had a sign up site but don't think they're going to send out a mass notification. Staggered release or fend for ourselves?

I signed up too. Best bet would be to check in every few days with tmobile help on twitter or calling the stores, but store reps give out all sorts of BS. Either twitter or on here and XDA forums you will hear about it I'm sure. I hope this weekend. If they don't get them by late next week I might swap out for Iphone 7 plus if the store has it in stock. Defender and Supcase are already out for them too! Defender is on sale already on otterbox site. The small S7 screen is driving me totally nuts right now. Don't know how much longer I can hold out using this damn thing! I made the decision to box up my Note 7 and not use it at all. Not worth injuring myself or worse over a smaller screen.

I would still rather have a Note 7 than iToy though. The Iphone pluses just look clunky and with a Defender they're just too bulky to fit in the pocket. The Note 7 with my Tech 21 Evo Tactical XT which is a Defender style case is perfect size for use and in the pocket. The 32gb model will also be cheaper than the Note 7 too but no expandable memory and I will miss the Spen.

I called my local corporate Sprint store and they said that they will be in on Friday. I asked if I could make an appointment and would they have my coral blue color and they said they didn't know what stock they're going to have but the new ones will be in on Friday and it's first come first-serve.

I called my verizon store today and they already have a list of people who wanted called when they came in.

The guy was very nice (which is why i always try to use this one store) and said when a black one came in he would put my name on it and call me.

It shouldn't take long as far as the swapping goes, return old one. Redo the edge plan for the new one.
This is one of the reasons i like doing in store business.

He said they can't say for for sure when they would be in, but did say they are expecting them next week.

I'm sure Samsung wants them there as fast as possible too with the Itoy coming out next Friday to keep people from simply returning them or swapping them and getting an Iphone. As much as I would hate to go to Iphone I just might if they don't have the devices in the stores by next weekend.

I tried to call both stores near me and all I got was the Verizon customer service thing where you have to go through hoops and wait forever to talk to anyone when I really wanted to talk to the store. Planning to try again tomorrow and if no go, go in there on Saturday. I am a little unhappy with Verizon. Maybe more than a little. But most of it is because I really really want my blue one back and if it's a mad dash, who knows. So far all I have heard is by the end of next week they should be in, but that was Verizon customer service and I take anything said with a grain of salt. This is all getting old, though. Ah well. Hopefully not too much longer.

I know you probably don't want my opinion but I'm going to respectfully give it to you anyway - don't settle for anything other than a replacement Note 7. Even if you have to deal with your "small screen" for a few extra days. Its obvious based on all your posts that you really DONT want any other phone and you'd just be settling on something you really don't want. Whats the point in that? I mean you are already pointing out things that you don't like about iPhone 7. I guess you didn't care for the V20 either...not that I blame you there.

Anyway, I'd just be patient and wait it out if I were you, man.

Each phone is going to have features we do and don't like. The V20 Is a decent phone but is meh otherwise. Doesn't have AMOLED screen but has removable battery even though it's a weaker battery. Iphone7plus looks more promising though. Decent cases a lot easier to find too, but no expandable memory and Apple OS tends to be boring too and no spen. I like the large size of the Note 7 but the Iphone plus models when fitted with a Defender style case is simply massive brick to the point I wouldn't want to carry it in my pocket.
