when to expect a new htc one max

My contract is coming up soon and getting ready to upgrade. I currently use the m7 , do I wait for possible new max or just grab new m9

Your choice. No one (even the people who own the company) can tell you when a new device will be ready for shipment - unless they ship whether it's working or not. And I don't think you want a company that ships defective phones to meet an expected date, then keeps replacing them with other defective devices until they finally have something ready to sell.
