When was Samsung Galaxy S (the first one) released?

It was released in 2010 and it's still a pretty good phone for basic usage. I own one for more than three years and I couldn't be more satisfied. However, it can be quite slow for apps or multitasking nowadays.

I just peeked on cyanogen, and the international S is on 4.4.4. Not bad considering it was released with Gingerbread (v. 2.3).
