When will Droid price drop on Vrzn?

Will it drop around the time of the Nexus1 release or will it remain at the same price for a while? I don't want to get a Droid and find the price go down 50% a couple of weeks later.

Well right now they are running buy one get one on the droid, so obviously they can't drop price and still offer that right now lol. My guess though is price will drop near the release of a future round of android phones(not for the Motorola Devour which comes out this week) but probably towards end of March, maybe April. Thats just my guess though, not at all going on any tidbits.

Right now it's their best selling phone, i think it's a bit early for a price hit. Devour isn't a replacement device, it's actually a mid tier Android device (between Eris and Droid). It MIGHT drop $50 around the Nexus release but I would not hold my breath. Remember Nexus is really not aimed at ht mass market, more at developers and phone geeks.
