You mean 4.1.2? I'm thinking we will go right to key Lime Pie rather then 4.1.2 it would make sense anyway. But you never know. I'm sure we will get 4.1.2 before that even happens anyway.

Do you know when they'll be rolling out the updates?

Be glad they have not updated to 4.1.2 as I got that update on my Nexus 4 and it messed things up to the point that people were rolling back to 4.1.1. It's discussed at that informative but not so good XDA site.

I thought the Nexus 4 came with 4.2.1??

OK. Now I'm confused. We started talking about 4.1.1 to 4.1.2. Then donec says the upgrade to 4.1.2 caused issues. But donec has 4.2.0, which would go to 4.2.1. So, is it 4.1.2 or 4.2.1 that is problematic? And, if it's 4.1.2, isn't that something Samsung could fix before rolling out the upgrade?

Can you tell I'm still feeling like an Android noob? :)

Opps! It is the upgrade from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1 that messed up. Sorry about that. got my numbers mixed up.

No problem, donec. Now I can safely hope for a 4.1.2 upgrade.. :-)

Did any one get a kernel update on their device t889 (tmo)? My phone shut off and when I turn it back on, I'm prompted on which launcher to launch. I also cannot stream live news coverage like I was before. If I try a local news to stream, I'm promoted in which player to use. That never happened. When I pick, mx player, I get video and no sound. Wth is going on? Lol

Yeah we are running 4.1.1 but it's been patched for the Security issues. I'm not sure what bug fixes come with 4.1.2 but I haven't found any bugs on my N2 so far and I've been using it hard for about a month.

Pardon my ignorance here - I've not been watching Android dev. much. My T-Mobile Note 2 currently has T-Mobile provided 4.1.1 with multi-window, etc. Has this version not yet been released to some markets? Also - what will 4.1.2 offer that 4.1.1 does not?

Thanks! :)

The multi window update was from 4.1.1. Without to 4.1.1. With

4.1.2 won't give you much more. However rims have their add ons and root will give you more.

4.2 is the update to watch for

I'm guessing its T-Mobile! Im coming from IOS so im not to familiar with Android. But I plugged my phone into Kies and it said I had and update. Checked on on GN2 and it said up to date... But Kies had an update. So now Im running 4.1.2

My proof from my update.
