When will the US based, unlocked Moto G4 Play get Android 7?

I recently purchased an unlocked Moto G4 Play in the US and it's running Android 6. I've checked for system updates but don't see anything for Android 7 and from looking around, it looks like Android 7 should be out for this device.

Does anyone know when, or if, it's coming to this device?
