Where are my audio files?

where are my audio files?

I am trying to make a backup of all the audio files on my galaxy s5 but when I navigate to the phone in windows explorer I can't find any of them. I have 2.77 gb of audio showing up on my phone but when I look at it through windows explorer, select all the folders, right click and select properties, it only shows 184mb used. The music folder has a bunch of folders in it, but there are no audio files in them. I could have sworn when I got the phone (a year ago) all I did was just drag the mp3s into the music folder. Any idea how to get the files to back them up? Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you looked in both Internal Storage and the microSD card? Are the music files associated with a particular music service, like Spotify? Or are they mp3 files that you copied to the phone yourself?
