Hello all, I have a Pantech Droid Model#ADR8995 had lots of pic's and music stored. Last night i was trying to transfer my pic's to my computer, all i did was connect the usb cord from cell to computer, all of a sudden i got a yellow exclamation on cell that SD card was infected and that i t needed to reformat??? I didn't get to press ok, or able to cancel, now i can't find any of my pic's vid's or music. Are they lost for good? Please any help would be appreciated. :'(

That smells like malware. Do you have a security/antivirus program installed on your phone that would give you that SD card infection warning? Because if you don't, there's no reason for an alert like that to come up (the stock Android OS doesn't have its own antivirus program. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some app you may have installed that wasn't what it seemed to be, and was waiting for this opportunity to wreak havoc.

Welcome to AC!!

Do you have a card reader that you can put the card in and put it directly into a computer? If not, when you said they are all gone, are they gone when trying to view them from your phone? If so, when you had it connected to your computer, did the SD card mount? If so, try connecting it to the computer again, and, browsing the SD card that way to see if you can see your files.
