Hi all.

I have read and read, but I cant find a solution..

Gmail app used to auto-add email adresses.
So the next time you start typing an email adress at the; to field, it will show those email adresses as an option to email to.

Now I email a lot of people I will never email again. Through second hand websits etc.
So I want to get rid of these email adresses, so gmail doesnt show them to me everytime..
I have searched everywhere but I cannot find them.

My android phone contact list is nicely simple.
It has a list of local phone contacts with phone numbers, emails and adresses.
And the contacts with only email adresses from the google contact list.
The auto added email adresses do not appear in any list.

The phone google contact list in contacts or google contacts app is exactly the same as the old or new one on pc. So those are synced well.
But nowhere are the once auto-added email adresses gmail keeps showing me.
And its driving me nuts..

Where are they???

Depending on the browser, probably in some database file in a folder created by the browser - not something you could get to without rooting, even if you do understand SQL, which you have to, to delete the unwanted ones. (And you'd need a SQLite editor.)

The phone does not show all of the auto-added emails. You have to look on a PC. Go to Gmail>Contacts>Scroll the left hand pane down to other contacts. That's where they all are.
