Where are the smart screen settings??

Cant seem to find the smart screen settings. On my G2 it was listed in the device settings but it isnt there on the G4. There is a smart settings option under general but the options listed under this setting have nothing to do with the screen staying on when it recognises your face looking at it which is what I want to enable.

I too had the same problem. Was a very cool and useful feature on my G2 but unfortunately it appears that it is one of the glaring omissions from the G4... at least on my Verizon G4.

Are you talking about the smart settings? They are there under General...smart settings. Unless your provider left them out. This is my first LG phone so I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing

Apps are nothing to do with the network provider. They are what comes included with the phone. I bought the device outright without contract

My G4 on Verizon doesn't have the option for the screen to stay on while looking at it. My Samsung S5 on Verizon came with that option. I bought my G4 at full price too. Mary

Im not sure what the relevance of Verizon is in relation to the smart screen feature as its a phone thing. It would appear that LG have got rid of it for some reason. The G2 has it.

Verizon is known to cripple down the features of phones, one of which is Smart Settings which is on the other models except Verizon's. The phones and software is customized for the carriers when it's a carrier branded version.

Like almighty1 said, Verizon does a lot of weird things to their phones. I have smart settings and do use them and they come in handy. I'm on telus 812 Canadian version

Sprint doesn't have the smart screen setting either. I really miss that. But we also don't have the setting we had in the G2 that allowed text messages and email messages to remind you they were there every 2 or 5 minutes. That's the feature I miss the most.
