Where are the V30 phones?

CT not a single store has a single LG V30 on launch day. Don't want to order a $800 phone without seeing it first.

Called and visited numerous TMob stores in NNJ and NYC today on launch day...nadda one to be had.

They had one in my local t-mobile store here in ne Florida. Liked it, and will probably buy one when the price comes down in a few months. No way I would pay that high a full price for any device.

Corporate store in Southeast Florida had a few on late afternoon of launch day. I picked one up and this phone is wonderful so far. Battery was the one item that pushed me to upgrade from G6 and so far it looks to hold about 7+ hours of screen on time vs around 4 on my G6. This is great when you consider They are the same size battery and the V30 has a larger screen. I've owned the Samsung S8 as well and the V30 is nicer in many regards.

I bought my V30 the first day it came out. My son wanted the phone a week later and 3 ATT and 3 Best Buy stores were out of the phone. Don't know why this is. The 4th AT&T store had two phones in stock and we quickly went to the store to buy it. I love this phone much more than my older IPhone 6

LG is probably having supply issues with their POLED panels. They are making the XL 2, and are more than likely making sure they can meet the demand of that contract before they start mass producing the V30. Plus, a lot of their inventory was also probably earmarked for Korea and Asia, in general. That's why we've only seen the two color options, and most carriers are only carrying one of those options.

Finally! I found a display model.

Damn this phone feels nice! Better than I thought it would.

Try Verizon. They're readily available at all the stores I checked in Washington state and Oregon. At the store I bought mine I was chatting with the manager and he admitted they don't sell many LGs - mostly just iPhones and Galaxys. Too bad all those customers don't know what they're missing out on.

How you liking it? I only had like 10 min to mess with it but I really liked it.

I love just about everything about it! I was really struggling between the V30 and Pixel 2 XL and the hardware of the V30 won me over. It's thin and light and the glass back with the aluminum frame looks amazing and it feels really good in hand. I really wanted an 18:9 screen and wireless charging, but never liked the software on my girlfriend's S8. I also wanted a phone with smaller bezels as my Pixel XL is a clunky black block and surprisingly the Pixel 2 XL still has really chunky bezels, especially on the bottom as Google won't let you hide the home keys. It also helped that Verizon offers a $200 VISA card and the new Google VR headset on the V30 and virtually no discounts or promos on the Pixel 2. My only complaint is that the photos are visibly worse from my V30 versus the same shots from my year old Pixel, especially in low light.

Yeah for a phone that 18×9 the V30 feels wider than the Note 8. Personally I like the ratio. The in hand feel though. It feels a lot like the Note 8, the soft edges and all glass... The big difference is the ergonomics. The overall size and fps placement. Just a well planned out phone.

I'm waiting on a sale to pick one up. I got my daughter's G6 2 weeks after release for $4.75 a month. I'll give it a 14 day try here pretty quick.
