Where do I allow my case to work?

[Android Central Question]

I have a magnetic case with a window towards the top for my samsung galaxy s9, however it doesnt seem to have the clock show up when i shut the top case. My phone is on android 9 and i only got it today so i don't know what i am looking for.

I'm not sure if the S9 supports those kinds of smartcovers, since the official S View cover from Samsung is a clear view cover (i.e., the whole cover is transparent).

I'll move this to the S9 Cases forum for more specific traffic. Hopefully, someone in this forum with direct experience can help.
