where do I find my backed up pictures?

Before I delete pictures from my phone, I want to know how to navigate to find them on the cloud. I know they are there because I see them from my laptop on my Google account. , how do I navigate to see them from my phone.?

Doh! Thanks. I thought that was only for things that I uploaded with drive, then I saw there was a Google Photos section.

Is there a reason why I wouldn't want to keep them on my local device (phone) also? Or would I want to keep them on my phone just in case I don't have a connection?

If you keep them on your phone as well, obviously they are going to eat space pretty quickly, unless of course you are rocking the 128. Unfortunately I only have the 32 so once I snap a pic, off my phone it goes and I send it directly to the cloud.

If you don't have a connection, from what I have been told you are still able to access them. I never tried this myself so I can't say for certain, but I have been told this. I am pretty certain you can do it over wi-fi though

I know the disadvantage of keeping them on my phone, I'm just wondering if there's something obvious I'm missing for a reason that I WOULD want to keep them on my phone?

I should think you'd use photos app instead of drive for photos. There's no reason not to back them up and delete since you get free unlimited cloud storage.
