where do I find settings in the maps from Google LLC app

[Android Central Question]

On my Google Pixel 2 Android 11 I can not find settings. For directions I changed keep north up and want to change it back. Also is there a way to keep the compass on when using directions?

Welcome to Android Central! On the main screen, tap your profile pic at the upper right, then Settings.

When navigating, to change the orientation to have the direction you're facing always be up, just tap the compass icon.
