where do i look to find out if im on 2.1 or 2.2?

I just bought my droid X and i don't know if i am running 2.1 or 2.2. In about phone section it says "system version 1.13.604.MB810. Firmware 2.1-Update1. (Won't open) Have i not got the OTA update? Kernel version 2.6.29 ERI version 5. Can't click system updates either. Only 2 boxs i can click on about phone. It's Status,Legal info and Safety Info.

You are on 2.1-Update1 so you haven't received the 2.2 OTA update yet. I've heard that it's been pulled temporarily due to there being some kind of data connection issues during the download/installation process that caused phones to be stuck on the "M" logo.
