Where do kindle books download to in the file directory

So if I download a kindle book from Amazon, where in the file directory will it be located when I connect my Nexus 7 to my PC? I want to import it to calibre.

Android/data/com.amazon.kindle/files/

The file may well be encrypted though, which will stop Calibre reading it.

Now that I investigate that folder after downloading a library kindle book I see three new files I'm willing to bet are encrypted. B00351DSAU_EBOK.apnx, B00351DSAU_EBOK.mbp, and B00351DSAU_EBOK.prc.

I think there are tools out there to break the DRM. Google it!! I havent tried it btw.

The filenames don't mean it is encrypted, the free books I've tried weren't, but the one book I actually bought from Amazon was, the eBook is the one with the .prc extension.

There is actually an unofficial Calibre plugin that will strip the DRM, which you should be able to find with Google, but I haven't tried it myself.
