where has the apps logo gone 9 dots in corner has gone

did a restore on my phone to try to get facebook going, now all my numbers , messages , are on the misses phone, and she has lost the 9 dots app symbol in bottom corner, seems her phone has cloned mine, all my contacts even went on it, her apps are there in the settings menu just cant access them, what a nightmare, I am in a right tizzy, as for the mrs she is even worse, please help a man in a very stressful relationship at the moment, thanks in advance, mike

It sounds as if both phones are using the same Google account (or both have both accounts, yours and hers). That's a bad idea. Why? Because things like what happened to her phone happen when you do that. Go to Play with her phone. Search launcher and let her pick one she likes. (A lot of us use Nova Launcher, but I know that my wife hated it, so it may be a gender thing - just let her look at the screen shots and choose one.) Click the Install button and it launcher will install to her phone. Then if she hits the Home button, she'll be asked which launcher to use. Have her select the new one, but just one time, not always. Then she can play with it and see if she really likes it. If not, let her try a different one.

If she likes the one she chose, choose always next time and that will be her launcher from now on. (You can't just replace the 9-dot icon - there's no "app drawer" app in the app drawer. It's part of the code of the launcher.)
