I already bought one from Ebay (UK), but it was the ASUS_Z00ADA, (CN version), model and not the ZE551ML (WW version), their advert said it was, so am having to go though the nightmare of waiting for a refund after having had to pay for its return. I warned the seller NOT to send me the phone if it was the CN version, but they did anyway, so I returned it, immediately.
So, does anyone KNOW where I can get an Asus Zenfone 2, ZE551ML, (WW version), without import duties/fees, with a UK warranty? Please, I am <-THIS CLOSE-> to buying a different, (inferior), phone.
Oh and the 3 key reasons I don't want to root:
1). I want the phone to accept OTA updates, (via wifi only, I won't be using the 3G or 4G bands. I'll be disabling all data allowances; P.A.Y.G costs a LOT of dosh if using data).
2). I cannot afford to brick my phone if I failed during rooting it. I'm interested in the WW version, ZE551ML only, (4Gb RAM 16Gb/32Gb or maybe the 64Gb models).
3). I am not a patient man, so if there are any problems/headaches with rooting, I can't be sure I'd keep my cool.
So, any known, legitimate places in the UK to get the Zenfone 2 as described above? Thank you.
