Where is Google Maps?

On my new Nexus 7 I went to Google Play to install Google Maps because I didn't see it on the home screen, in the Google folder or in All Apps.

But in Google Play there was already an Open option, indicating it was already installed. Sure enough I clicked Open and the app ran.

But where is it? :)

It should be next to the YouTube app, on the bottom on portrait mode or right side on landscape mode. And I'm like you still trying to find the GPS navigaton app hehe.

It's listed as "Maps," not "Google Maps" in the app drawer. Look under "M."

Thanks, people. Don't know why I didn't notice it before. It wasn't next to YouTube (there was a blank spot there instead) but found it in All Apps under "M" for maps and put it into the Favorites tray. It's possible in my initial playing around that I dragged it out of the favorites tray by accident.

Thanks,

It looks like Google has done away with having a separate listed GPS app "Navigation" in favor of simply integrating it into the "Maps" app (though the Nav app really was just a shortcut into one of the menu options of the Maps app before, anyway).

There is no more navigation app. I'd you use the maps, they have pretty tightly integrated the navigation into it. To me its a little bogged down and choppy at times in my HTC one and nexus 7, but looks nice.
