I am trying out Calmly Writer for writing documents I don't want stored on the cloud. All Google Docs documents go to the cloud while you're working.

When I tried to insert a photo I got Google Drive. I understand that the Google Photo in Google Drive is no longer getting photos.

Where do I find the current photos to insert? I'm assuming they're hiding somewhere on Google Drive.

There's no way to access more recently saved Google Photos through Drive after they removed the direct sync. Can you show a screenshot of what you see when you try to insert a photo?

When I want to insert a photo in Google Docs the Google Photo array is selected. When I am trying other writing programs, such as "Calmly Writer" and ask to insert a photo the program goes to Google Drive and I can't get photos from Google Photos.

In that kind of situation, I think you just have to go to Photos separately and download the photo you want to use. That's what I have to do if I want to post a photo on the forums, for example.
