Where is Portable Hotspot on my Froyo 3G??

I have a 3g mytouch and froyo 2.2 but it doesn't list Mobile Hotspot as an option for WiFi. Any way I can get it?

I could be wrong but I do not think without a custom ROM you can set the MT3G as a mobile hotspot. You can tether though.
From home screen click Menu>Settings>>Wireless & networks>Tethering

You can do this while your phone is hooked up to your laptop or computer and it will show up as a wireless connection.
