Where is the document file located on the Galaxy 5?

where is the document file located on galaxy 5.

when I look at the files app it has "document"....but when I try to find them on the device or sd card I can't locate them

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably /storage/sdcard0/Documents.

I didn't phrase my question very well. I can see in the Files App a Document box and when I select that I see many pdf files I have downloaded to my phone. When I look at both the device storage and the SD card storage there are Document folders but those pds files are in neither. I can't figure out where they are as I've looked at all my other "folders" in both storage areas.

Are these all pdf's that you've downloaded from somewhere? If so, they might all still be in the Downloads folder.

Trying to attach the screenshot but the above is all I'm getting. I'll keep working on it.

Oh it worked! LOL Now you can see what I'm calling the "document box" . there I can see my pdf files but when I look at either the device storage or sd storage folders I can't locate them.

My Files is probably aggregating all of the files it found that are considered Documents (like PDF files, Google Doc files, Microsoft Word files, etc.). When you tap Documents and see the PDF files, try long-pressing one of them, or look for some way to look at the file details--it might show you the directory it's in.
