AC Question

Clean Master running on a Note 4:

When I click to clean on Clean Master on the followup screen it used to say "Apps to stop" now it says "Apps to start" all on the lower 1/8 of the screen. Where is the control to always keep on stop?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried emailing the support team? support@cleanmaster.freshdesk.com

May I suggest that using Clean Master to stop apps isn't the best way to run your system? Force closing apps that aren't misbehaving can be counterproductive, and actually cause more battery drain, because the system will keep wanting to reopen them.

Re: Clean Master running on a Note 4:

Cache cleaners are unnecessary and counterproductive. Cache files are there for a reason. And if deleted they just repopulate anyway. All the deleting/repopulating just wastes CPU cycles and power.

Clean Master takes it up a notch from there. It's not just worthless, it loads up your phone with so many nag pop-ups and unwanted crap that it's more than fair to say it's actually malware. An evil app to be avoided like a bad case of Ebola.

I never give cache files a thought. I only empty a cache if an app is having problems which means very, very rarely.

Skip the cache cleaners, especially Clean Master.
