Does anyone know if the SD card fix is hardware or software? The LTE SIM slot is very close to the SD card. I wonder if its hardware related??

From ever thing I have heard and read it is a software issue not hardware. Even the 4g is just a daughter board install. The sim card slot is actually fully functional right now. Just without the radio (daughter board) installed and the software to go with it. I am not even sure what would happen if you put a sim card in there what it would do....

Nothing. I took the sim out of my galaxy tab in hopes that it would run on 3g, but no such luck. I wish there was a way to unlock it for my sim. I have unlimited data on t-mo.
