Where to buy online without getting a fake?

Thinking about getting a galaxy s7, but they're hard to find in stores in Canada that let you buy outright (I'm grandfathered into a great plan that's really cheap and fits my needs), but I don't want to get a fake, like when I bought an s5 mini from eBay a couple years ago. It was so crappy my s2 was faster and better made... Id like a brand new one. Not a fan of refurbished or used. I'd like to wear it out myself lol

Anyone have any advice where to buy?

Hi there,

I know you're not really into used, but Swappa is a great place to find devices. A few people even post New (Resale) if that's more up your alley.

I've bought and sold on the site, and I really think it's the safest besides purchasing from a major retailer or manufacturer.

I'm not sure how it plays with Canada but it might be worth looking into.

Hello! You could also try Amazon and Newegg.ca to see if they have any options!

Swappa is great.
Now that they even offer insurance, even better. Have been using them for years. Highly recommend them.

Plenty of reputed sellers on eBay selling genuine S7s.
Although if your budget is flexible expect to see a raft of deals on the S8 shortly which is a far better device than S7 in multiple ways.

Many of the new items I've bought off sites like you posted are genuine but are also seconds, that's why there's so cheap. I no longer buy new items of this nature from auctions sites, you're better off buying a used phone at least you'll know what you're paying for.

A 4-month-old thread, but Amazon, Canada Computers, and Best Buy are some good online choices. And yes, Ebay can also be really good if you buy from the right vendor.
