where's the June OTA update?

I can see the OTAs but so far I am not able to install it. I even rebooted the phone a couple of times

"The OTA update is rolling out now and over the next few weeks depending on carrier and device."

It's rolling out....

Thanks what I was wondering. Thought I missed out on the phone until I checked for an update and came back with nothing lol

So they basically killed the "check for update button"..... Again.... Google is seriously getting on my nerves, can they do anything with this phone in a simple straightforward way? At this point why is it even there? Just remove it and have it randomly pop up whenever they feel like it. I feel like the pixel 6 series has been such a step backwards for Google. Everytime they seem to make strides towards being on time with updates and features, they then do something so backwards you would think it was their first time ever making/supporting a phone....

Like the dummy thermostats in office buildings so you think you have some agency. Door close buttons on elevators also.

No 13 beta for me, but no update either. Odd that they borked the update button again. Frustrating since Samsung had already gotten the June update out, but Google can't seem to get it right.

It's not surprising it's Google SOP now. It seems the feature drops break many things since it's trying to fix so many other things. Last time they borked the update button it was Dec and the ota was killing cellular reception. Then they tried to hide the fact it was broken by releasing a statement about what happened Dec 30, the weekend before Nye. If only Google could fix things easily and not this haphazardly

The update button has always been like that. Nothing new. You can click it a million times but it's not available until they decide to push it to you. They roll updates out in stages, sometimes by carrier, sometimes by area of the country etc. But I'm still clicking obsessively...

In the comment section at 9TO5GOOGLE on the June update delay.

"It's a phone, find some real meaningful excitement in your life instead."
