Which Android phones work with a cracked screen

Sent my Sony Z3 away for a screen repair for the second time in six months, this time a hairline crack but the screen once again completely inoperable. I've seen on numerous occasions I-phones still working with totally smashed screens. Need a android phone that will work with a cracked screen. Any suggestions

Re: Which Android phones work with a cracked screen

It all depends on "which" screen cracked. If it's just the top glass and not the digitizer that cracked, then the phone can operate as if nothing has happened to it. iPhone or Android doesn't matter.

Any suggestions
Don't drop your phone! :D

The first time it happened the phone was still in my pocket, I've no idea when I actually did it, come to use my phone and the touch screen was totally unresponsive. On closer inspection there was a hair crack straight down the middle. Most of my work colleagues have I-phones , and have seen them still operable with totally smashed screens and still function without a problem. Over a period of approx' 3 years I've had 2 'Z's and 2 'Z3's repaired , screen wise and only on one occasion was it extensively damaged. When this contract is up no more Sony's for me :-\

That hairline crack must have penetrated the digitizer. Yup, bummers for sure. I've banned Sony a long time ago. They're post-buy support sucked on every product I've owned in the past. No more Sony for me!
